Horse Education Day!

The day will be broken into two parts. Youth may choose to participate ALL DAY or Afternoon ONLY:

The morning session will be the Regional Hippology and Horse Judging Contests. Youth MUST be enrolled in a 4-H horse program in their county to participate. Youth do not need to qualify for this event, as our region is not running individual county events this year. All contest participants will receive a pizza lunch as part of their registration fee.
The afternoon session is open to any 4-H member (they do not need to be enrolled in a horse program).

Check in will be at 8:30am, with the contest starting promptly at 9:00am.

Please register each youth individually. The deadline to register is April 14th.

The levels are as follows:

Novice- first year only, youth must be 13 years old or less as of Jan 1st.
Junior- 8-13
Senior- 14-19

The top scoring individuals from the morning contests may choose to move on to the State Hippology & Horse Judging Contests held during the New York State Fair (date tbd).
